Wynn Resorts unveiled new details for the first UAE casino in Ras Al Khaimah. In January, the casino operator announced its plan for Wynn Marjan, which will open in 2026. During that time, Wynn said it would be its first beachfront property.
According to casino pay per head sources, Wynn Marjan will have over 1,000 rooms, retail shops, a convention and meeting facility, a spa, and over ten lounges and restaurants. In addition, the casino resort will have various entertainment options and a licensed gaming area.
And this week, a transcript of the Q3 earnings conference was released, revealing further information regarding the licensed gaming component. Wynn Resorts CEO Craig Billings stated that the integrated resort’s development was advancing swiftly and that they were now in the “late phases of programming,” initially reported by Hotelier Middle East.

When Wynn Marjan was revealed in January 2022, Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) made a second announcement confirming the creation of a new division overseeing integrated resorts. In addition, the Department of Entertainment and Gaming Regulation under RAKTDA is developing gaming legislation while considering the Emirate’s social, cultural, and environmental context, following best practices from Singaporean and US regulations.
Although Billings claims that drawings, programming, and planning will likely be made public early next year, they have no idea how the resort and casino will appear. According to online casino platform experts, the property’s foundation driving is anticipated to start in the middle of 2023.
According to live casino software reports, Billings also emphasized Wynn Resorts’ attention to the market’s non-gaming segments. He said they become more confident in the non-gaming components of that market the more time they spend there. In addition, he was just over there recently. It’s a huge market for luxury and non-gaming leisure.
